Minutes of Puriton Parish Council Meetings

In this section of the site you will find links to the minutes of parish council meetings.  The very first meeting of Puriton Parish Council was in December 1894 and, eventually, we will include extracts from many of the minutes from earlier meetings.

Currently the Parish Council meets every month except August.  In addition, there is also an annual parish council meeting and an annual parish meeting.

There is a difference between these latter two - The Annual Parish Meeting is open to participation by any resident of the parish.

The Annual Parish Council Meeting is exactly that - an annual meeting of the Parish Council.  As with all monthly parish council meetings, the public are welcome to attend but may not participate in the meeting itself.

It is not practical to show the minutes of many meetings in this page, so, instead, you will see links (below) to the various minutes that are available.

The archive of minutes will be built over a period of time, so be patient, you won't see them all straight away!
