Long Term Recycling (and how it works)

First of all you find an area of outstanding natural beauty, e.g. the Mendips.

Then, with the aid of dynamite and humungously big machinery, blast big holes in it, crush it into small pieces (uniform in size), take it to Riverton Road and spread it about willy nilly.

Now the trick is this - after a few days it all ends up on the pavement then, with the aid of shoes, gets carried into your homes. With the aid of a dustpan and brush, vacuum cleaner and other such utensils it gets cleaned up and put into your rubbish bin.

On Thursday Somerset Waste Partnership come and take it away and put it back into the ground. Then, in a couple of million years time, the whole process is repeated.

'Hey Presto' - sustainable road dressing!

Totally with you on this one, having recently installed some nice oak flooring the tar and stone mix really adhere well to its polished surface, i did read in the letter from the surfacing company or whoever it was that the paths would be blown so that loose stone would be pushed back into the road followed by several sweeps....NOT.

That is If they remember to call at your adress It reminded me of a Keystone Cops farce on Thursday

compounded by Sedgemoor District Councils so called customer support dept whoose lack of interest was a joy to behold and the lies from Somerset Waste Partnership staff

All in all another example of Sedgmoor council forgeting who and what they are there for

Someone should tell them they work for US not the other way round

Well who would have thought it the crew of Thunderbird two managed to forget to collect the bin again on thursday !

Makes you proud that we have such a wonderfull dedicated service for the village dont it !!

Dont bother to contact Sedgemoor District council on a friday as the comunial brain cell that they share has a day off.

And as for the Somerset Waste Partnership they can shift the blame quicker than a MP Doing their expenses .

Any one out there who has had problems with this new system please let me know via this site

that is if BIG BROTHER allows such things .
